What is the HALO Ablation procedure?
The HALO procedure is a prime treatment option for the removal of diseased tissue caused by Barrett’s Esophagus. This thin tissue is removed by the process of using controlled heat energy that specifically targets the abnormal tissue, without damage to the surrounding normal tissues. Clinical studies have shown that Barrett ’s tissue can be completely removed in 98.4% of the patients studied. If you’ve been diagnosed with Barrett ’s Esophagus, Dr. Klin may recommend this treatment procedure.
Dr. Kin is the most experienced physician in the area in the treatment of Barrett's Esophagus with Halo ablation. His results are far better then the national average, based on the Barrx National Data Base Registry.
